Tips on how to select your leader

1) choose your line weight -

furled leaders are determined by your . line wieght

2) leader length -

the leader plus tippet should be about . the same overall length as your rod . ie; 9ft. rod lenght starting point would . be a 60" leader and add about 48" . of tippet

3) select taper - what will you be fishing - . Drys*soft taper

Nymph*moderate taper

Streamers*strong taper
